So, there was an interesting thought in a group today, and, there has been some debates, but now I want to ask you guys: Do you think that technology is a good or bad influence on society today?
As you know, our technology helps us to do daily activities, and well as solve problems such as workload, by using tools, techniques, etc, on a daily basis. As you also know, technology is slowly advancing everyday. As the state and level of technology increases, people nowadays tend to use them more daily.
I would say that one postive say on this was that technology is good for our everyday lives, simply because it helps us preform the tasks we do daily; like washing clothes, washing dishes on the dishwasher, cook our food; or hey, even preform intense labour. Also, our form of communication has changed; we don't really write letters anymore, we use could go on the computer to chat to friends or family, or maybe just use a housephone, or cellphone. It also has some entertainment values, like video games, or T.V etc. But, that's just on my own opinion.
What I can probably say what's bad about technology is that sometimes we probably use them too much. It depends how much technology is used everyday. Like...say if someone went on the computer all day and night; they wouldn't really get any physical activity, would they? And also, jobs are being done by some machines, so maybe there isn't as much job opportunites as there were is machines didn't have to do them for us. Again, that's just my opinion.
So... is more usage of technology a good thing because it helps us, or, do we rely on them too much that it turned society for the worst?
[*BTW I'm trying to do a new blog style; I'm just not sure yet. ^.^' I'm THINKING an Ema Skye. :3 So...please excuse me if I constantly...change the colors on this thing. :3]
