    So I want to learn a foreign language, but I don't know what.

    On one hand I'm leaning towards Spanish but on the other hand I'm leaning towards Japanese.

    I can't make up my mind.

  • I've heard Japanese is like, really hard to learn, while Spanish is relatively easy (especially if you know french). But insulting people in Japanese is so much funnier than Spanish, so... I dunno. o_o'

  • Spanish will be more useful. Japanese is pretty useless unless you wanna use it for fandom but if you're a patient person who can wait for official translations--or fan-translations--then it's kinda pointless to have. XD;

    ...though given a chance to do it all over again, I'd learn Japanese again instead of learning Spanish, haha.

  • Spanish is helpful in so may ways. And much easier.
    I took Chinese, and it was a load of work, and pretty much pointless :x

    Why not both?

    If you can only take one foreign language, however, it'd have to be Spanish.

  • Pi-shaw! :D Learn Japanese.
    Everyone in school said "Learn Spanish, it will be more useful than Turkish!"
    They had to sing La Bamba in the talent show.
    I got a month's trip to Turkey. Which was awesome. Pi-shaw I say!
