So, to start off this situation report, I've chosen Omega Ruby to be my main game for this. My starter choice is Treecko, namely because I like this one out of the three Hoenn starters, & that I've got the other two on my Y game.
Needless to say, the first fight with May was pretty stiff. If her Torchic would've used an Ember attack, it would've been no contest who's going to win (i.e. not me.) Even without using it, the fight was certainly a nail-biter, & got my heart pumping. Then again, the start of the journey is the hardest part, at least it is to me.
Now that that part is through, the rest should be smooth sailing. I've managed to bag some nice 'mons thanks to the DexNav. Thus far, I've managed to get a Gust Wingull, a Female Telepathy Ralts with Misty Terrain, a Steel Wing Taillow, a Fell Stinger Surskit, & a female Rattled Poochyena. Nifty stuff indeed.
Now, for the first gym, it's the reason why I like picking Treecko: it single-handedly wrecked face of Roxanne & her cronies, & not even Sturdy could save them.
With the first gym badge secured, I've imported six 'mons that I've bred from my Y game. They would be:
- An Iron Head, Rough Skin Gible
- A Crush Claw, Mold Breaker Drilbur
- A Glare Heiloptile
- A Heracross
- A Heat Wave, Magician Fennekin
- & a Protean Froakie.
I've finished most of my prep work for all of those 'mons, not to mention the shiny Beldum that I got off of the wi-fi event that's on at the time.
So, here's to conquering Hoenn again, one gym at a time!
