I hate marching band

they're mean. they dont understand that I perceive heat differently than they do. I still do love the sport don't get me wrong, but I feel unwanted when I try to participate.

I'm not doing it next year. Every saturday, where I could be doing what I love (i.e. not feel like a lump of butter), instead I have to torture myself physically, if not mentally and emotionally, by the people who mock me for "not trying my hardest".

I love them still, but I can't stand the torture that I get from them.

I would have been out of band long ago if no one in band supported me and they were all rude about ****. A marching band is a family, and if they're picking on you and such, that's not really a very good family. come be in southerners we're nice i promise :)

Marching band was the one thing from high school that I actually miss. I remember feeling so awesome in the uniform, because our uniforms were amazing and had capes and everything and the hats were so magnificent. The cadence continues to play in my head when I walk, and I continue to match step with the beat of a song. And I remember sitting at football games getting excited to perform, thinking that the football game was a pre-show to our actual show. Haha, I'm so conceited.

Nick, my offer to be in Southerners is extended to you as well! Trumpet, right? Yeah. There's a really good looking section leader. ;) TEE HEE HEE!! But you might succumb to STL conceitedness...then again, it seems that you're probably already there.
