If you read my previous blog post, you would know that I decided to restart my Pokemon Black and I let whoever commented choose my team via Sydian's method of team choosing. Once my team was picked, I noticed that I liked every single one of them's shiny form, so I abused the RNG to get a desirable ID/SID (which makes it easier to get shinnies with good natures/IV spreads). Now, I just recieved a shiny Snivy from the lovely Professor who's name I forgot!

I plan on RNG abusing to get my whole team shiny, so this is what my lineup should look like:

  • You can use RNG to get a desirable ID/SID for shinies with good IV spreads? Dang. /now I really want a second copy of White so I can do that

I'm guessing you probably had to use the AR to get your SID?

No, you basically choose find an IV spread you want and a nature you want on the same seed (there are two RNG's - one that determines IVs and another that determines everything else like natures, shininess, etc), then you use a feature in the RNG Reporter and it can find a shiny starter seed and frame that you can hit when starting a new game to give you a certain ID, and by doing that you automatically know your SID. And I've heard that it allows you to find shinnies with good IV spreads that are easy to get, but I havn't tried that part yet (I assume it should though). Here is a link to the guide I used: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12206225/RNG/g5%20rngguide%20v01.pdf
