Tomorrow is the last day at my first job since I have been out of college.
I'm nervous as hell, mainly because I'm leaving a really laid back, stable job, for a fast pace job that I will be new at. I'm a nervous, but excited.
As usual, the magic wizards at Pandora Radio always seem to play the right song at the right time to positively affect my mood.
When I was on my way to the interview, I was listening to the Pandora in my car, when this song came on.
It helped steady my nerves before the interview. It was like I was being told to be brave. I did really good at interview, as I was called in for a second interview, and ultimately given the job. I start on Monday.
It's still a big unknown changing jobs. But the long term benefits of changing jobs where just too much to pass up. I will be working for a global company that is in the top 70 of the Fortune 500! Not only am I getting a significant bump in pay just for going to work for them. But the opportunities to advance in this company are huge! This is amazing for my career.
For the last two weeks. This has pretty much been my theme song.
