I actually bought WoW. I've played it before for friends, but have never actually played it for myself. Don't really know anything about it and last time I played, Arthas wasn't a major player in the game...(before Wrath of the Lich King Expansion)


So....I dunno what I should play. Horde seems to be what everyone is practically screaming at me to join, friends and those who have been attempting to scout me into playing WoW for the last few years.

Any one play have any pointers for a new player?


I favor playing Magic based characters. That's really the only stipulation other than needs to be horde...or Pandaren since they can be either faction I think. Ya I just don't know and don't want to start my game until I decide what I want to play.

Druids are the easiest for beginning players who want mana based characters, so I recommend you be a Druid for your first class. You'll be able to attack and heal significantly, and morph into some things.
If you decide you want to give physical a spin, go with Hunter. They're distance characters more often than not (shoot arrows from afar while your animal tanks your foe) and are the easiest to use, especially for new players.
