Hello!
As well as a big Pokemon fan, I'm also a big Yo-Kai Watch fan, the game series being my second favourite behind Pokemon. On September 7th, their brand new game in the series, a spinoff called 'Yo-Kai Watch Blasters' had released. I absolutely enjoy this game. The story is well sequenced, the humor is spread well, and the main protagonists are memorable, furthermore, it is based off of the mini-game in the previous games of 'Yo-Kai Watch 2' which I crunched many hours into beating all the bosses for rare Yo-Kai and items. The gameplay is quite simple, you have a team of 4 Yo-Kai, which can have different roles, a Fighter which focuses on attacks, a Healer, which obviously heals your party and provides stat boosts, a Tank, Yo-Kai with high defenses and are capable of minimising damage, and a Ranger which is like a gimmick, and provides a mixture of offense and defense with stat drops on the opposing Yo-Kai. Your Yo-Kai have 3 types of moves, their standard attack, which does a set amount of damage and can't be replaced by other moves and two other attacks that can do extra damage, provide boosts, or lower opposing stats are two slots that can be swapped around for new moves. Finally, there is your Soultimate move, a move that has high power, and can be used after enough damage is dealt/taken. The premise of this game is to fight boss Yo-Kai, tough Yo-Kai that have evil, or mischievous intents. Your team of 4 Yo-Kai are responsible for taking down these bosses. The gameplay is really addictive, the collectible roster of Yo-Kai is over 400, and the game is just a blast! (No pun intended.)
