So I've been really chippin' away at Black 2, I've got my 8th badge as of recently and now I'm looking for that butthead Ben (Hugh).

I just spent the last four hours trading my Black Pokémon to my Black 2 game. My first idea here is to challenge the Elite Four with the team I've been using as I've played through the story.

(Emboar / Unfezant ♀ / Leavanny / Haxorus / Krookodile / Golduck)

I've grinded heavily twice in two separate areas (once @ the Desert Resort and again outside that Desert Town where the Strange House is) and it. was. exhausting... But when you're done, you go to the next area with confidence.

Anyway, the bottom line is. If I can't beat the E4 in one run I'm going to whip out my flagship Pokémon team from SoulSilver

(Typhlosion / Alakazam / Golem / Tyranitar / Dragonite / Venasaur)

So wish me luck as I wrap up Black 2 and get ready for X & Y.

Good luck. I don't think it's fair to the elite four though, just whipping out your Soul Silver team like that. Talk about going overboard. Whatever floats your boat, man.

And I know how it feels to grind. Grinding sucks until you're done. I only do it on emulators, because of the speed button. On the actual console there's no speed button, and that's really annoying.

I'm also excited for X and Y. Even though I don't have a 3ds, it's still fun to see it. shofu is definitely gonna cover that game, so I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like.
Isn't it something like 170 days until it's released in Japan?
