A few months back, I had a dream that I really liked. It was about finding love and being with someone who I could just enjoy life with. It was one of the happiest dreams I had ever had, and it briefly reminded me why I continued to search for love.
Last night, I got to thinking about that sort of person and if I would ever find such a person among the women I tend to meet. As I was falling asleep, I hoped for a moment that I would have a dream similar to the one before. I don't usually ask for much, I just wanted to feel that feeling of companionship again.
So what do I dream about? I dream about my ex-girlfriend lying about me to my friends and trying to screw with my personal life for no apparent reason, just like she did for (what I found out later was) an entire year after she inexplicably broke up with me the day after Christmas in 2008.
Well, I hoped to dream about love. I guess I got what I was asking for. I did love her, after all.
