So if you know me, then you would know it has been flooding in the state I live in, I however did not know how bad it was until I read a twit on twitter informing how bad it is.
"75% of Queensland has been declared a disaster zone, an area twice the size of Texas and over 5 United Kingdoms #QLDFloods"
And the suburb I live in is suffering floods at the moment, I thought it wasn't that bad since my backyard only had a few puddles and I didn't think about the people near the river/creek. My family is now looking after a friend's dog since they had to be evacuated since they live right next to the river/creek. And we actually live about a two minute drive away from them, except we're more uphill and further away from the river/creek.
