Hmm a certain forum is now in debate(were else do pokefans go besides here?) Anyweh yeah we are in aq fickle. Why? Well this here could be a hint to why all 3 starters are in the dex as caught.

Wah does that show would be your answer if you cant notice certain things. But if you can and like me took it like that then yeah pikachu could be in the starter line.

Could just be GTS. That's how I managed to get the 3 starters. I would highly doubt they allow you to get all 3 starter Pokemon. But a nice observation.

Wow Im glad to know we have another pokemon game coming out. Platinum is a good name, I like the sound better than diamond or pearl but thats just me. My Ds broke, and I hope to get a new one before this new game comes out ^_^

New Platinum News: Confirmation of an extended Pokedex

Today's episode of Pokemon Sunday in Japan, a variety show showing the fan-side of Pokemon and showing a bit of the Pokedex in Platinum. This showed that the 210 Sinnoh Pokedex Rumour is confirmed and placed Froslass at #208 and Giratina at #210 in the Sinnoh Pokedex. It is unknown what other Pokemon are in this extension of the Sinnoh Pokedex, presumably the rest of 4th Generation Pokemon and their related Pokemon. We will keep you aprised on this and any related happenings.

Other than this, no other news has been revealed.

If you look closely at 0:17 in this youtube video, you can see a brownish spot on the ground and on the wall where he lands. That's how he jumps.

I see. So thats where Cyrus and his Team Galactic crew moved to. No wonder he left the Sinnoh region. He's trying to figure out another place for his Team Galactic buildings. I guess the Team Galactic people that were left behind caught up with him to get to the other worlds of Pokémon.

I know I am feeding off of old posts, but here goes:

• I think that the 59 new Pokemon are indeed the 4th generation Pokes not put into the Sinnoh Dex in D/P (ie Heatran, Yanmega, Electivire, etc) and their evos. The 59th (from staring at the silhouettes for a long time...such a waste of time) Pokemon are/is probably new forms of Rotom (the electrical appearance of all the silhouettes, ie thunderbolt-like arms, an antenna, clamps, plugs, magnets, etc).
• If Platinum does follow the fashion of Emerald, Cynthia will not be the new champion. It will be Volkner if Platinum follows that fashion (Wallace became champion in Emerald; Wallace was the 8th Gym Leader in Ruby/Sapphire)
• Dialga and Palkia will both be catchable in Platinum if it follows the fashion of Emerald.
• I think Arceus will still be an event Pokemon, but I believe that the event for Arceus will be released soon after the release of Platinum in the regions where it hasn't been released yet.
• I believe that Shaymin will be catchable in Platinum. It's a rough assumption that I have no proof on. I'm just making a guess.

These are assumptions I am making. I know that other people have said it, but I wanted to put it i my own words.

I didn't see this in Raikazu's post on the first page and I didn't know about this myself so I might as well bring it up now.

This game is unable to connect with My Pokémon Ranch, but is able to connect to Pokémon Battle Revolution and to Generation III games. It is unknown if Nintendo plans to release a patch that will allow My Pokémon Ranch to be compatible.

Quite an unfortunate flaw. But I think I'd rather use Platinum with PBR over Ranch anyway.

To be honest, it depends on the game. Depending upon each individual detail regarding the game, they may end up being explicit or just not at all.

I'm just wondering if there really is that much more to know about Pokémon Platinum, I hope there are some more nice features, 'cause ATM I'm really not all that exited.
