If you do:
go to freewebs and search fire red rom
Once you download one you go to shiny gold since it's not on a rom and patch that by double clicking on it: it will say patch file to or something like that. You go to fire red and patch it to that. Then the next time you open fire red it will be shiny gold!!

all hacks are isp (unless proven wrong once again by machomuu). all roms you find on freewebs are well roms!

Well, I used to go to freewebs.com to look for pokemon roms. For shiny gold you want a firered rom. You then patch shiny gold to fire red and then you can play it!

You should look definitely in the Progressing hacks to try out their hacks. If it says Beta 1 or 2 or something you can download it!

The most fun original hack is Pokemon Rescue Rangers by Destinjagold and is the second most popular hack there is.

Well, actually Shiny Gold gets the most attention around here. I've played it. It's pretty fun! There are some others out there you just have to do some looking in ROM Hacking or Progressing Hacks for beta releases
