Huh. Well, finals week is over, and looking at the last few pages, it looks like Durial scanned it after all :P
Anyhow, since the "argument" from my perspective looks almost pathetically one-sided, should Durial refuse to scan 29 after Chuang Yi translates it, I will.
But hopefully Viz gets...
Is Wallace scanning 28/29 (or anyone, for that matter)?
I have finals next week, and if no one's up for scanning it all in by then, I'll do it myself.
The conclusion to Emerald lacks shippy moments T_T I was rather disappointed.
Too bad there weren't a few hundred thousand more of you :(
I'm not saying it didn't sell, it just didn't sell enough to justify its continuation in America. Places like Japan (and Singapore) still brought in significant profits, so they continue to be distributed there.
Exactly.
When Pokemon hit global, it was the show that became popular first. Kids all loved Ash/Misty/Brock, etc. and anything else was boring.
To be fair, the anime's story wasn't bad back then. It was popular for a reason.
But nowadays, when the anime's gone pretty downhill and the manga's...
Well it wasn't selling well in America at first, since kids were looking for storylines with Ash and the like.
So they stopped selling them. It's a shame you folk didn't buy them when they first came out :P Maybe the scanlator's services wouldn't be necessary.
I'll be visiting Singapore next week for a med project, so I'll be sure to pick up a copy while I'm there :D
If Wallace or Durial don't scan it, I will
He chose children of multiple backgrounds. Silver had a more elite background, being the son of Giovanni, whereas Blue probably had a more humble, meager living.
