Fire starter is the best in my opinion as its owns the start of the game, and gets you to other pokemon that are much better then any of the starters. Water starter is still a badass Ninja though :D

EV stands for “Effort Value.” They determine what stats your Pokémon will get when levelling up. you gain them from battling any Pokémon you come across that award Experience points and playing the Super training mini game. IV stands for "Individual values" are the Pokémon equivalent of genes...

I dont find this game any easier then b/w but they were not hard either. They took out all the guess work from ev training and made everything faster. For that i'm greatful. Also in what way is lapras op? Fashion is always a sales tactic :P
