Themes and mneumonic devices are the way to go. Im sure every one noticed the way PKMN always uses a theme for town names? Same theory. For example, Once I settle on a team, I'll name them all names starting with a letter from my name. Something like...

My current routine is something like this:
Breed 4 eggs of something i want to train later.
Grab My current trainee (w/ Exp. Share) and a Sweaper (w/ Amulet Coin).
Pound Lady Gillian and her friend at Resort Gorgeous to raise trainee and hatch eggs. Repeat as necessary. Takes roughtly < 1 hour...
