I know this post is fairly old at this point, but how would I change the map/position it spawns me at?

I want to change the first healing spot so that instead of talking to their mom, the player just respawns in their house. I’m talking about the script that activates when the player whites out before finding a Center. Does anybody have a good tutorial or way to do it? I’ve looked around but...

New ROM Hacker here, wondering what’s the best strategy for making new cities in a hack that the player can fly to? What I’ve figured so far is just renovating older cities and moving the flying positions. Anybody more experienced know a better/more efficient method?

I'm new to the ROM Hacking community, and am learning the basics of hacking Fire Red. I'm trying to change where I spawn after Oak's introduction to a new map, how do I go about doing this? Thanks for your help, and let me know if I need to elaborate.
