    All-Instrument Patch (FireRed, Ruby, Emerald)

What!? The drum table has to be in an aligned offset!? I didn't know that...God damn it...I'll have to fix that. I haven't abandoned this. Just been busy with other things which have higher priority for me (School, the DS mugshot hack, my own fledging ROM hack). ipatix, thank you for helping...

    Pokemon Firered Novus ROM BASE

Hi, I understand progress on this patch is slow right now. But I would greatly appreciate it if someone would provide the download link to the version of the patch with all the Gen 5 movesets. It would be invaluable for my hack.

Patch: MrDollSteak's Decap. and Attack Rombase

An Emerald version of the patch! That's awesome news! It's only a matter of time before hacking Emerald becomes just as appealing, if not more so, as hacking FireRed. Looking forward to it!

    Research: NDS-Style Pre-Battle Mugshots

If you're talking about the 'sprite movement' animation, it IS possible to have the sprites remain frozen in place. Unfortunately, using my current method, it takes a bit of trial and error depending on the starting position. I'm working on it! Like Derlo said, load and edit the RAW tileset...

    Research: NDS-Style Pre-Battle Mugshots

'Animated bar...tileset...' You're talking about the tileset used for the VS. backgrounds, right? I was looking for that thing! This is very useful, and will goes a ways in helping refine this. Thanks again!

    Research: NDS-Style Pre-Battle Mugshots

That's incredible! Can you tell me how you did it? I have a rough idea, but some exact info would be good.

    Research: NDS-Style Pre-Battle Mugshots

Some of these I knew about (like the initial positions and height), but several of these I hadn't figured out yet. Thank you, I will definitely put these to good use! I'm still working on this, but school has started, so my progress has slowed significantly. Once I have this figured out for...

Code: DSLN: An Emerald Hacked Engine

Oh thanks! I was looking around, but last I saw the Fairy type implementation still had several major bugs to work out. And the stupid forum search didn't turn up the p/s split. Thanks again!

Code: DSLN: An Emerald Hacked Engine

Yes, yes, YES. I've wanted to use Emerald for my hack so badly. Tag Battles, Contests, a Berry system...the latter of which many have tried to hack into FireRed because FR has to much more to offer. The friggin' Battle Frontier! Not to mention a vast array of tilesets available for map-making...

    Research: NDS-Style Pre-Battle Mugshots

Yes, I have IDA. And I could never get the stupid thing to work properly for me. I'm certain I'm doing something wrong, somewhere, I'll have to try again sometime. But at the moment, I can't get to a point where I can simply browse through functions and such. I use No$GBA's disassembler...

    Research: NDS-Style Pre-Battle Mugshots

Oh f*** yes! Excuse my language, but do you know how many time I've fruitlesly googled 'List of FireRed functions?' This is incredibly useful for me, and it's already helped me get a much clearer picture of the mugshot routine. I'll give the code you posted a shot, and check back in if I have...

    Research: NDS-Style Pre-Battle Mugshots

The reason the player mugshot is removed is because I effectively 'fused' it with the opponent mugshot to make the 128x64 mugshot. And that was because I didn't know how to do precisely what you just told me. I knew it was possible, but with my limited ASM experience I decided to improvise with...

    Tool: Complete Item Editor

When I click continue, the program still works, but it refuses to bring up the 'More Usage' screen. I already have the latest version of the .NET framework. Visual proof: I hope we can figure this out because the 'More Usage' screen, with it's wide variety of possibilities, is one of the...
