I think I will largely wait and see because I have only (since signing up here) found out about the remakes. It sort of makes replacing my Silver redundant so I'm glad I figured out prior to ordering a new copy but I am not 100% sure I'll get either at this point though my inclination is SoulSilver.

Well I just signed up because I just purchased Sapphire and Pearl from Ebay after finding out my copy of Silver bit the dust (it refuses to save). I'm going on an extended holiday in the near future and was planning to take my Gameboy Color with me ... so this is plan B. I haven't got them yet...
