    Trading Mcdonalds Special Event Hoopa for Genesect

    I'm looking for a few Genesect. I have obtained more than a few special event Hoopas. None of them are hacked/duped, etc. Hoopa is an original special event pokemon, obtained legally from Mcdonalds during the 2015 event.

    I have Pokemon X and my Zorua was traded for a Darkrai through GTS. Isn't Darkrai a special event pokemon? Then why can't I trade Hoopa on GTS? Do I need to wait for this Hoopa event to be over in order to trade on there?
