As many have already said - Nostalgia, the thrill of the hunt in real life, the fact that it makes exercise fun (as it never really was for me, at least), several other future possibilities, such as Legendary battles and Trading + out of Gym battles.

I've ran into this issue quite a few times. Did you attempt force-closing the app and starting it again? I still run into problems with 2 track and one track Pokemon completely disappearing off of my "Nearby" list.

New to the forums, and was brought by Pokemon Go - BUT have been a fan of Pokemon since the original Red version! Happy to be here!

I was lucky enough that "SketchPanic" wasn't taken, but that's not exactly a great trainer name. lol I'd rather be referred to by my actual name, if I were a real Pokemon trainer.
