When I saw a shiny for the first time in pokemon gold,I didn't know what it was,I was choqued.I thought : " Why is this Sneasel pink ?! " First,I thought there was a bug in my Gameboy,but after,I understood it was a shiny when the woman to the Pokemon center said me that.

Perhaps they'll recreate the first generation on nintendo ds. and than ruby/sapphire,that'll be fun because I miss first generation too.It begin to have too much pokemons,more than 500 .. woaw

I think a shiney pokemon is easier to catch than pokerus because (in D/P) you can catch shineys pokemon without difficulties with the pokeradar,even if it's long to do. I've more than 20 shineys and I had pokerus only twice (and that was in the old pokemon gold generation and not in the news...
