i'm going to be gone until tuesday on vacation, but i'm bringing my gameboys with me so hopefully i can get a couple shinies while i'm gone. i'm hoping for a shiny swablu.

i had the same problem Mudkippy... press A+B+Select+Start in-game and you'll go back to the startup menu

so, in other words, your ID really has no effect on it (as far as rates of catching) i doubted that they would... and right now i'm still hunting a swablu

999 hours? geeez... personally i doubt that the id number makes a difference, i just don't see why it would... and how do you soft reset?

would they really set it up so that it's harder to catch shinies with a higher ID number? i don't see the logic in that

ah, that definately makes sense (sometimes i'm a lil thick) what would you suggest for catching a shiny swablu in emerald? they're fairly common so i've been searching in the grass.

is hatching eggs really faster than looking in the wild?

and what do you press to do a soft reset?

does it work on all gameboys? (i don't have a ds lite yet)

what is "soft resetting"?

i was wondering if i could join? my only shiny is a hariyama (caught as a makuhita) but i'm always on the lookout for more...
