While they are my least favorite main series games, I still think they are ok. They're not games I would want to play over and over again but they can be fun every once in a while.
Not sure why, but my first time playing silver I picked Chikorita...I can safely say that's a mistake I'll never make again. I f I were to play nowadays, I'd go with Cyndaquil.
Made it as far as I could today before my right thumb began to feel like is was going to fall off from "A" button rage. I had to hack in Miltank and Psyduck(because I needed help with Brock) but everything else, I managed to catch by progressing through the game. I cleared all eight gyms gyms...
I think gold, silver and crystal had the best soundtrack. HG/SS was ok but they made too many changes to most of my favorite tracks such as the Kanto gym theme.
I honestly could not make sense of what Ghetsis was trying to do in the first games, but in black and white 2, his plan was a lot more straight forward. Freezing the world with a legendary Pokemon is far more dangerous than whatever he was trying to do in the original black and white. As for...
When I do nickname my Pokemon, it's usually the ones I'll be using on my main game team. When I do nickname them, I'll usually have the nickname be a reference to another series I like such as naming a Cherrim "Sakura."
Even though I haven't played them in ages, I still have silver and crystal on a shelf in my closet. I'm not sure if they still work but they're definitely there.
Even though I've yet to do it, I usually save my master ball for a soft reset legendary. Other than that, I'd never use it unless, I had no other poke balls to catch a random shiny(which rarely happens).
I've been living in huge cities my whole life, so I'd actually want to try something new and live somewhere a little more quiet. I guess in Sinnoh's case, I'd want to live in Solaceon Town. I've only seen the countryside a few times in my life so it'd be a nice change.
