start over is better. when i patched my old game, it froze when i entered some buildings.

yep my bulbasaur became an egg. i used adavanced map so i could catch another one.

well i use the everstone gameshark code to stop bulbasaur and squirtle from evolving :P

true, but in the anime pikachu's electric power was increased by the power plant and the only way to do this is with a light ball. and pikachu knew thunderbolt before that already, when it saved ash from spearow :)

what i do is use IPSWin 2.0 and just open it, select the two files and say patch. the new patched game will be the original rom.

so will it be where for some attacks it will obey and others it won't?

in pokemon mewtwo strikes back, didnt charizard obey ash in there? so will he obey you in the hack?

what i use is a program called IPSWin20. all you need to do is open it, select your fire red rom and then select the patch to use and press the patch now button and thats all. very easy to do.

include something like in soul silver and heart gold where you chase suiciune all around the game and to make battles a bit more challenging give the opponents a diverse range of pokemon like water, rock, fire not just all the same type.
