I like Clay the most. He is just no nonsense and he can be a real challenge to beat. My least favorite is Cheren. I have hated him since B/W, he is just so annoying to me. I do however think its cool they made him a gym leader in this one, progressing his own storyline.

For me Gen 1 will always be the best. Gen IV really let me down as a whole in terms of new pokemon introduced. I may be laying the blame on the starters what what I felt was an extremelly rushed and lackluster gen of pokes. I do have to give a shout out to Piplup, he isn't too bad :)

I would have a squirtle and a kingdra. I know it doesn't fit my pokemon type, but I would be backpacker. Your not gettin to far in an adventure without a good bag.
