Sorry for my inactivity. My computer was in the shop. It's still not really ready for me to start doing hack-related stuff on it yet but I figured briefly explaining my absence would be better than nothing.

If you make the blue on "Holly"/Morgan's clothes less bright, I could see that as the rival, and "Asher" would work as the player. Some more Morgan/Hero renditions.

Did you get any of the descriptions of the leaders/etc. from Bolens?

Drafts of Asher and Holly (Fire and Ice Gym leaders). Asher is mostly just a recolor of one of the RSE bird guys with the cage removed, so I'm more of a fan of the Holly sprite.

FYI, if you're making these for Morganite, the leaders, E4, professor, teams, team leaders, and some other NPCs have already been decided on.

If we're splicing, I can try some of the trainer spriting too. Did the Cypress OW work?

I sent Bolens the short-as-I-could-make-it version of the storyline. It should end up in this thread soon. It doesn't flesh everything out, but it explains enough about everything so that the story and its progression make sense. I wasn't sure how I was going to incorporate the final legendary...

Thanks. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get the animation to work in the first place, let alone while retaining the quality of the rest of the image. I'm just glad it came out the way I saw it in my head.
