    A Sunfishy Fakedex

Fixing up the smoothness on the shading of the nose/face and adding some AA to the eyes would definitely improve the look. However, I think the fingers are fine. I mean, look at Machop's evo line. They basically have humanoid hands. So it's not unheard of.

    GFA's Triumphant(?) Return to Spriting

I would suggest perhaps shading each segment of the shell instead of just the whole thing as one unit to make it less flat. Somewhat like this sprite.

    GFA's Triumphant(?) Return to Spriting

It wasn't quite as noticeable before. It might be due to the slightly higher contrast between colors that you have now.

    General Pixel Art Discussion Thread

I'm no pro at anti-aliasing, but what I try to do is use a mid color between where two different shades touch, like your base color and your shadow for example. Placing so much as one pixel of a color that's a shade somewhere in between those two colors, usually along somewhat jagged edges...

    GFA's Triumphant(?) Return to Spriting

It looks to me that there's too much anti-aliasing along the lower edge of the skin of his upper arm. Looking at it from a distance, it makes the outline look thick. Actually, taking the shading off of the bottom of the upper arm between the shadow of the sleeve and the elbow might be better...

    General Pixel Art Discussion Thread

I'm pretty sure the limit is always 16 colors. (That's 15 + transparency as a 16th color) I'm not sure about tiles since I don't really make tiles, but for Pokemon and Trainer sprites, that's your limit if you're planning on inserting them into a GBA or higher hack. If you have no intention of...

I have a suggestion of the next WPC, Logie. How about Mega evolutions? Since that's like the latest thing now, maybe people can make Megas based off other Pokemon.

Having a sticky in Pixel Projects might be a good idea. Although that probably still won't stop people from posting request threads in this section. :/

Submitted entry. Logie said that the poll would be up soon. :3

    WPC #28 - POLL

I vote five and six. Five because it looks very clean, has a good looking color palette, and, quite honestly, very fun. Six because it's a pretty decent fusemon and a practical idea to execute. Basically, it just makes sense.

    GFA's Pixel Place

It looks better, but it still looks kind of squashed. Like the sides are too wide for how tall the VS sprite is, if that makes sense. Maybe it's just me. Also, I think the outlining for his arm could use a little more contrast on the side closest to his face.

    GFA's Pixel Place

Something about Sabrina is bothering me. I'm not sure what is is, exactly. I guess her face looks a little squashed or something compared to her body. These are looking pretty nice so far, though.

↓ that guy's pixel art is awful

Holy shiznits, you're alive. The avatar pixels look really cool. I had to squint, but there's an impressive amount of detail in so small an area. also i think sceptile's legs should be the lighter green kthxbai
