    2nd Gen Did anyone beat the E4 and Champ with just one Pokemon?

    First time I ever beat the E4 was actually with a somewhat overlevel Pidgeot. Then with a Typhlosion and once with a Haunter (didn't have anyone around with a gameboy so no trade evolutions for me :(). Back then I ONLY ever leveled one Pokémon

    2nd Gen What is your team on GSC/RBY?

    Since I normally take Cyndaquil, I add a Pidgey to my team ASAP, then a Geodude, then a Mareep and a Jynx. The 6th memeber tends to be either a HM slave, a Machoke or a Dragonite. Sometimes I use a Kadabra there. Cyndaquil covers Steel, Bug and Grass as well as Ice while Pidgey line covers also...

    2nd Gen What was your strategy for dealing with Morty?

    I always use a Geodude/Graveler. Magnitude might be not the most reliable but it surely sweeped the ghosties. Remember, Gen I ghosts only, so the secondary Poison typing screws them over.
