R/B came out when I was in 9th grade, and I loved them. Then I took a decade hiatus before I picked up Pocket Monsters Yellow in a pawn shop in Japan. The Japanese was beyond me, but it rekindled my interest enough for me to buy Diamond. When SoulSilver came out, my addiction was complete.
