I need help. Whenever I load the room and get past the title my screen goes light blue and freezes, I'm thinking its the version of emerald I'm using although I've tried about 7 is it allowed for someone to give the a link to one that works or at least tell me the wording I need to search properly

I did I just searched emerald download and put in in a rom patcher and it said it was a mismatch

Ok so I don't really know how to download something like this.i'm on Google chrome btw. so I pressed download and now im in rom patcher js. It's showing me a thing I have to input: a rom file? what does that mean. I just wanna play the game

how do I play it??
