My Gold died, internal battery went dry about 2 years ago. Since then I did speedruns of the game, to see how far I could get before my batteries died. I got to the last gym once ^_^

My Gold team: Butterfree Houndoom Machamp Golem Ampharos Lugia I think my crystal team was mostly the same except I had an Alakazam in for Butterfree and Raichu in for Ampharos. Lugia was around 75 on both, and the rest were in the high 60's.

I just tried using Rudolph's anti piracy patch that apparently should be with the English patch but wasn't, and it froze at the same spot. I think it might be the ROM. I'll try with a different anti-piracy patch tomorrow, but I doubt it'll work.

You have to catch one, or trade. I believe you can capture a Golem in the 8th gym. Alternatively, you can trade your Graveler using VBALink. EDIT: 50th post ^_^

My vote goes to Eruption, it's one of the few hacks that's of professional quality, and it's funny :D it needs more attention.
