On my nuzlocke run of White 2, I went into Castelia Sewers and then into the park area and found an Eevee on my first try. Hooray me! So, it was in sleep mode after I caught it, and then when I got back home my 3DS had shut off from power loss. That was when I decided not to do a nuzlocke again.

What is this start and select thing you speak of? What does it do? I am curious. :P I mostly play it on my 3ds because it's more comfortable that my Dsi and DS lite. I sometimes switch, though, when my 3ds isn't charged and vice versa.

Repels. Do you use them? Why or why not? I didn't used to, until B/W2... (Very minor and not plot related spoilers...) I mean, for everyone out there who could care less about wild Pokemon, repels get frustrating. You have to go back in the bag, search for your supply, then 100 steps later...

In PMD1, I was a Pikachu with a Squirtle as my partner. I think in PMD2, I was a Meowth with Chimchar. It was fun. :)
