finally after playing hundreds of hours of Pokemon, I have encountered my first shiney. Found a level 40 Ursarig.

It's when you put them on top of each other that they merge.

I've been playing for over 350 hours on Pearl, and still never seen one. Might get into chaining a bit more soon. My max is only 20 so far. I don't believe that there are any shiny pokemon on GTS that aren't hacked.

Ha, it's been a busy year for me. But my housemate bought Pokemon, so kinda got back into it. I think it was a bit of both, I barely slept the previous night, but that is in a beer garden.

Nah, you need themasterball for the wandering pokemon. Girantina can be caught with an Ultra ball no problem. Takes a while. I always had a Krickitune with False Swipe and Sing. Then just lobbed ultra balls at it.

So, after almost 2 years, and with 334 hours on the clock, my Diamond team is coming together nicely. I've caught 490 so far, so now have 2 badges, but want to complete the battle tower. So far my team is: Spiritomb (level 100) EV trained in SPAttack and HP Porygon (level 65) Modest EV...

Get a wobuffett thingy, makes it so much easier when you want to catch the legendaries. LIkewise, a Kricketune and you'll be sorted.
