From what I read on the first page, someone asked if Johto was going to be added into the hack.. that would be insanely awesome if there were 3 total regions in one game. Kanto, Johto, and Sinnoh.. wow. Could something like that even be possible at all? I'd lose it if it was.
Not sure if it's in the cards, but something that has always bugged me about the Gen 4 games was that even the fastest text speed is still slow compared to Gen 5. Do you think that making the text speed faster is possible in this hack? Another thing is that the Lure Ball is oddly green in the...
I absolutely love this ROM hack and am having a great time with it!
To echo UDBZJames' sentiments, I was curious though, have there ever been plans or possibilities that this hack could be done to the Gen 4 or even the Gen 5 games? If this was done in the Gen 5 engine.. man that would be...
Again I feel stuck and I need help on what to do. I found Pryce in the ice cave above Blue Forest, but I don't have Rock Smash and Whirlpool and I believe I need both of them. How do I get them? Please help!
You need to trek back to the town with the ancient Unown tower/waterfall and go into the top left house with the man and his Pokemon outside of it, that's a Rocket hideout. Talk to the Rocket grunt to the left by the TV/table, fight him, and he'll give you the key.
How do I get a hold of Rock Smash and Whirlpool HMs? I've made it to Blue Forest and found Pryce in the ice cave and he said he'd go see his family for a visit. I feel stuck and lost.
I will say that some of the Headbutt trees below Blue Forest on the right side can't be Headbutted; that might need to be looked into as well as any other Headbutt tree tiles that can't be Headbutted, wherever they may be.
The main sticking point that I have that I think hinders this hack is the...
Can anyone explain what the difference is between Legacy Gold 97 and Super Gold 97?
EDIT: Nevermind, I saw the first post changed and showed the differences.
I'm playing Super Gold 97 at the moment and I beat Bugsy so far.
On my deviantart page, I actually attempted to make "devamped" GSC Spaceworld '97-style sprites of some of the Pokemon from Gen 1. I might attempt to do more later on if it can aid in this project.
Doesn't look like my cup of tea, as I honestly prefer the Super Game Boy color scheme for Gen 1/Gen 2-alpha/beta era over the finalized Gen 2 GBC color scheme.
Would there be any possibility to implement multiple use of TMs in the future for this hack at all? Or am I to resort to the Missingno...
Is there a possibility that you can implement infinite use of TMs? I was bummed out to see that the TMs are still a one-use only item still.. guess I'm spoiled from future gens lol.
So far this hack is excellent. I've beaten Vermilion City's gym so far and can't wait to see how the rest of the...
I started this ROM hack a few days ago, and I have to say I really love it so far! I've hoped and hoped someone would make a game out of the beta material sooner or later, and so far this one is delivering the goods I was wishing for!
I can't help but feel however.. that the music (I know is...
Not a problem, just glad you're still here. Would you be able to compile a wild/trade/evolutions cheat sheet/chart for this hack being the Pokédex hasn't been updated, or is the hack-specific Pokédex going to be part of the new update?
Is there a means to change the front sprites and even the back sprites as well? I've been wanting to have a hack of Red/Blue that has a mix of Pokémon Green sprites (fronts) and some of the Pokémon Gold beta (fronts and all the back sprites).
