Did you unzip the rom? You may have to do that. If the patch is a zip file, you have to unzip that too. Make sure you are using LIPS, instead of another one. I'll try to think of some other possible issues.

Looking ahead, the H.E.L.L episode may be important, but I think you can leave out the Snake Princess. I didn't even like that episode anyway.
