I feel like an idiot for asking this, but could anyone elaborate a bit on the A-map connections?
I'll have 2 maps that connect perfectly in the viewer. I'll go into my ROM and it looks like an earthquake shook the maps apart. Is there any type of magic or sorcery involved that I'm missing?
I like it. The things that bother me is the pointless path up at the top left, and the tall grass. It might just be me, but I really hate tall grass in towns, even if it's to fill empty spaces.

Ok, I need some help.
I wrote my script, and when I compiled it I got "Unkown keyword: ssed at line 37"
Line 37 is blank, and it's in between 2 pointers, @msg3 and @move
I haven't looked too much at variables yet, but with flags you can set just about any random flag (save the "special" flags). It'd be smart to use flags that aren't already used in the ROM, but you can use any random number.
I could use a little help.
I added a stairway into my rivals house, but now when I try warping to the rivals room, it takes me to the titlescreen.
I checked the warp numbers, map banks, all that jazz, but nothing works.
Thanks for the help, Spherical Ice, but one of two problems now occur:
- The script isn't activated at all, the guy teleports on a building
- The game freezes, the guy teleports on a building
