OK. Some people waste their money on cheat devices to unfairly beat a game. I can truthfully say I haven't.

I guess I did have a problem. Nintendo removed the other 185 Pok?Mon from being obtainable in R/S. So, I got the AR to get those Pok?Mon, AFTER beating the game. I didn't do anything that I could do without cheating. PS - Sorry about double posting, I meant to edit the post, not post another...

That's like saying the Music Industry can't go after people illegally downloading music. Or that Microsoft can't crack down on software pirates. If someone is infringing your copyrights, you CAN take legal action to stop them.

Allow me to rephrase what I said. If cheating devices were illegal, there would be some effort by Nintendo to stop them. However, Nintendo has not made any legal moves against Datel (AR) or Interact (GSA), or Pelican (CBA) for that matter.

I agree with Porygon. I don't do anything I could normally do in the game. That would take the fun out of it. And by the way, GS codes are not illegal, they just make Nintendo very unhappy with you. If they were illegal, then Action Replays and Gamesharks wouldn't exist.

right. and in game cheats are meant to be taken advantage of. not neccessarily in all games, but that's what "easter eggs" are.

That's exactly what I meant. You see, my friend got all 201 Pok?Mon w/o cheating. So, I've been trying to help him get extra Pok?Mon (that aren't in Colloseum, since he got those now too). But he says that cheating is immoral, and all that stuff.
