    If Game Freak cared about graphics then they would have never published Pokémon on Game Boy. At the time of Pokémon publishing on Game Boy there was a console called Game Gear, which already had colours and was way more powerful than Game Boy. There were consoles like Nintendo 64, Sega Saturn...
