    How exactly is this a challenge? It's pretty much how I (and most people I assume) play my(their / our) runs normally (and the no reset stuff can easily be circumvented by a hard reset )

    Not really that challenging imo I can just run around until I get that particular rare Pokemon (since it'll most likely be better than the very common ones) and no Fly is just a nuisance, at least for the reasons you presented.

    Do my team have to be a carbon copy of the gym leader team or can I just use teams the gym leader uses? (i.e.: if I'm doing a Jasmine run on GSC I have to have two Magnemite and a Steelix or can I just have one Magnemite and a Steelix?)

    Yes :3 It's quite a fun game to pass the time (actually it's more like Bejeweled than Tetris iirc) But I think you should play it, it's a fun little game and well ... it's better than some other games like Trozei and Dash imo

    Do you buy both games?

    Not really,I never really buy the games because they're ridiculously expensive where I live, so I just pick my favorite and play that one; sometimes I play the other but most of the time I just stick with one (such as Blue, Gold, Ruby, Diamond, White, Black², etc.)
