With the new type match-up chart, I hope that fairy is weak against flying but strong against dark to balance out the legendaries

As for the train tracks mentioned earlier, I can remember there being the same thing in... Goldenrod City was it? I wonder where this set of tracks leads, because the other end isn't visible on the map.

And to add on, riding different types of...
I would catch and train a Honedge if it's sheath was how it actually looked. Going into battle with a puny average iron sword would suck.

It'd be cool to me if it looked like the one in the "new pokemon listings" page and not the one in the "pre-release screenshots" page.

I looked over the current pokedex to see which pokemon could have their typing changed to Fairy, and most of them seem to be purely Normal-typed. The ones that are just normal would be then just Fairy if changed. Here's a list of possible ones on the internet...
In my opinion, it should be super-effective against Steel whether or not it makes sense to be, just because everything besides Fire and Fighting doesn't do much to Steel-types.
On another note, I wish GameFreak showed/shows more Fairy-types to the public. The only one shown so far is the one...

Whenever and however they reveal it, I would pay attention to the fact that Pokémon Smash said this past Saturday (or at least this is when SerebiiNet reported it) that they would do X and Y news (whether or not it is new news) weekly. In this case, we could expect something tomorrow about this...
whether or not the storyline is roughly the same if there isn't grid based movement it won't feel like a main series game for me

that would make it... 4 pm Central? Of course only a bit of that hour and a half time slot is actually for X and Y. I'm not sure I like all of the new mechanics in it. Camera differences, major graphic changes which were kind of expected, but still. I saw something about being able to walk in...
I for one want to use that handy dandy train that runs through the mountain. Whether or not it leads to a new region or just a new area to this one.

My idea about Gogoat riding is that it's sorta a taxi service within the city. The cloth on its back makes me think so.
