your sprites are good, keep working on the customs and you will get better, the more you do vthe more you learn:) here are some of mein, see my avatar, i have 3 different animations and i hand made them!

i have changed first one to water/evil type it is....

i like the forst one, i spent alot of time on that one, the "box" is a needle injektor lol so are the two next to it,(lower forms)
