    yeah but I'm talking about the way the sprite is shaded, like dark shades and light shades, say it was all the same color, but with different shades, thats what I'm talking about.

    Im not including outlines, the most shades I have ever saw on a GBA sprite was on an Onix I think that sprite has six, I'm not sure.

    regular sprites usually have 3 shades, overshading is adding a lot more shade sto make the sprite smoother, also duskchop (Hes overshaded as well)
