Sadly I just got the game in the midst of finals week at my university and I hate to say I've been neglecting studying and playing instead haha.
And I've been bringing my ds to my biology lecture instead of taking notes and paying attention and thanks to that I nearly failed the last exam >_<
I'm playing Pearl right now but keep going back and forth between that and Fire Red and I can notice a big difference in battle speed overall. But it doesn't really bother me I guess.
Awesome thanks for your advice! I'll try out some of the things you said and let you know how it turns out.
And yeah, I'm just waiting to beat the game so I can transfer some of my new pokemon from FireRed for a better competition team.
But thanks again ^_^
I think the player's guide is really hard to read and not easy to follow. I don't like it. I remember when I played G/S and R/B/Y I had two amazing books that told everything and had percentages of appearances and stuff...but I don't remember who made them.
As I'm playing D/P (I'm about to get the fourth badge - I'm kinda taking my time), I'm noticing that I'm not coming across any new pokemon that I really like or wish to train in my party. And I feel that my party is rather boring and since a few of them I've trained before in past games, I am...

I for one love to browse around the chateau, it's so eerie.
Oh okay, thank you both very much for answering the question.
So if I want to become a more involved online battler than I should pay more attention to nature? And if you breed a pokemon does that also cause the nature to be random or does the nature of the parent /s have anything to do with...
I've had a few questions about pokemon natures that have been bothering me lately. I am new to natures and the advanced generation games but I know what each one of them do (I found a chart).
My question is, does the nature of a pokemon greatly effect its abilities and stats during a battle...
Wait you can trade for an Eevee before you get the National Dex? Sorry I'm still new to the advanced games so I don't really know how it all works still. I thought you have to have seen the pokemon first before you can request it in a trade?
Is the only way to get an Eevee to wait until after you have the National Dex and then get it from some girl? That's what I've heard I think. So you have to wait all the way until then? :(
