Never played BW, but have played most before and found the rate at which you level in XY ridiculously fast when you have a team of 6. The XY exp share makes it too easy to level in XY IMO.

Haxorus with false swipe. Catching seems a lot easier in XY, so I have yet to build a custom catching pokemon for more specialised hard to catch pokemon like I did in older games.

I guess it would have to be dragoniteite :D

But mega Gyarados isn't mega Magikarp. Spare a thought for those pokemon who don't necessarily want to evolve and those trainers who may not want to evolve them either ;)

I'm looking forward to it but wouldn't say excited. I got crazy excited for for XY due to it being the first for the 3DS, whole new game engine, etc etc. But ORAS, well it's going to be good but nothing ground breaking and IMO nothing to get excited about.

You should certainly be able to get more info on the pokemon that someone is offering up for a trade. Knowing only the level and gender doesn't even come close to letting you make an informed decision. I don't see why they couldn't upgrade it for ORAS and leave XY the way it is, and I...

Probably been mentioned by others but Mega Magikarp would be the best. I mean seriously who needs a mega than poor little Magikarp?

While having Sycamore as the champion would be an interesting twist, as others have said it wouldn't really make a lot of sense. He's a researcher, not a battler.

I did not know you could check how many you have until this thread. I usually get them after randomly giving out O powers and think it's a nice gesture on their part.

Riding the skiddo was awesome, the rest was pretty meh. Rhyhorn was so frustratingly slow.

I picked male, but wished I picked female once I discovered the limited customisation options for a male, namely hair style and colour and less clothing options.

Very useful for getting pokemon you need and I used it heaps, trades will happen pretty quickly if you propose a reasonable trade. The reason there are so many "offering pikachu, want lugia" trades and the like is because they are rubbish, no one ever takes them and they sit there forever while...
