Hi, hi! I wrote this love song about how nothing could keep me from my girl. To an outsider, this doesn't seem to be about Pokemon at all. But I know all of you will recognize the HMs/TMs from the First Gen games that I built the lyrics around.
No Substitute
Baby, if you’re ever...
Hi Poke-fans:
I manage a songwriting project on Tumblr, and I wrote these two Poke-themed songs. People enjoyed them in the Tumblrverse, but I really wanted to share them with true Pokemon fans, like the ones on this forum
To an outside listener, there's no way to know this blues song is...
I'd encourage you to tell us more about this someone...if these aren't just random thoughts, but about an individual, describe that person--how they look, how they feel, etc.
I'd like to see more, too! I think concretes are essential...don't only philosophize, but load it up with images/smells/physical sensations...have more images about rotting in the grave, waiting at the pearly gates, etc.

I agree with many others that it takes the fun out of the game. As a rule of thumb, I don't do any tricks like that in any game until after I've beat it. Cheating (too strong a word?) takes the excitement out of the gameplay and even the story. On a replay, though, it's fun to experiment.
I think some people are missing the real point to hitting down/up and B when they throw a Pokeball...I don't think I ever really believed it upped my chances, but it was fun to believe it did...gaming is full of absurd, faith-based actions like that...as gamers I bet we do countless, pointless...
