Okay. I'm uploading the fix now. I just had to change a few branches and now it works.

I have resolved that issue. Somehow I accidentally changed the starting location for the player. I have updated the files, so the fix should be live soon.

I've updated the game with a few new changes: The bug that caused a lag when selecting on and off the continue tile in the load screen is now gone. The unintentional wall tiles in the lab have now been erased as well as a couple modifications to the tilesets. Minor tweaks to the battle system...

Is it possible for someone to rip the city battle backgrounds from the generation 4 games? Just the background, no bases. It seems that all the rips from those games have everything but those background for some reason.
