Just so you have an actual answer, no, but you can use it with EasyRPG since it's made in RPG Maker 2k3. There's some bugs emulating it that way (Particularly right at the start where you can't run away if you get into a battle before you get your Eevee, effectively softlocking you, and some...
This was one of the first ROM hacks I've ever seen, if not the very first, so I have a lot of nostalgia for it (Despite me not remembering anything other than when you get your starter). Rediscovering it shortly after it was completed is a really pleasant surprise. Hacksrepairman, you are a...
I know nothing about Runescape, but this looks really cool regardless! I'mma have to keep an eye on this one. :)
Out of curiosity, since there are new types, is there a new type chart or is this a sort of Sweet situation where the types are just reskinned? Genuinely curious.
It doesn't give an error at all. At least, not as a pop-up. It starts loading the plugins and as soon as it gets to EDX (or FMS?) it instantly closes. Some sort of error (I think) pops up in the console that shows up with the playtest in red text, but it closes way too quickly for me to read it...
Is it possible to color mid-battle text? I've been trying to but it doesn't seem to register either "\c[x]" or "\\c[x]" and I can't think of anything else. :/
For context:
I can deal with it if it just doesn't support it, but I figured it'd be a good idea to ask, just in case.
(...Also, how do...
Just so you know (In case you don't), the Discord invite isn't working. I want to throw this into my collection of hacks cause it looks really cool, so I guess I'll just have to wait.
Edit: Nvm, my server list was just full. Disregard. Lol.
I completely forgot this existed (And I'm just now realizing I may have subconsciously taken inspiration from this hack for my own fangame, what with the whole elemental orbs thing). Lol.
Glad this isn't dead tho, it's really interesting and I look forward to seeing more come out of it (Just...
This hack looks pretty cool, but I can't seem to get it to work on my particular flashcard (It's a Supercard DSTwo+ if anyone has any solutions). I've tried pretty much everything to get this to work for it, even finding an obscure download for the BEAT patcher that seems to not exist anymore...
Funnily enough, I'm not a huge fan of SRPGs like Fire Emblem, but I'd definitely still give this a shot, cause this looks really cool and clearly had a lot of effort put into it! Also love how you (Spoiler tagged just cause the thing I'm talking about is under a spoiler). :D
Definitely keeping...
Omg it actually worked. I could have sworn I had tried this already. I... guess not. Thanks for the help. Lol.
(Also I finally figured out how quoting works. lol)
Thing is, I still want the player to be able to access the bag to pick up items found on the area (The idea is that you start a dungeon without any items on you, and you just have to work with what you find. Could also use it for an actual story purpose at some point) tho... Idk, I guess if I...
Yeah, as far as I can tell, that doesn't seem to work (If you mean something along the lines of "$game_variables[26]=$PokemonBag"). I can easily clear the Bag, but saving and restoring the previous state is an issue.
Is there any good way of temporarily removing the player's current inventory to give back to them later? Ideally you'd still have access to your Bag, but the items that were in it beforehand aren't there, if that makes sense.
Is this possible at all, or is there just no reliable way to do it (Or...
