Glad you got it working. I suspect you must be using an outdated fork of pokered-gbc, because rgbds v0.5.0 is also quite old, and the current version of the pokered-gbc repo builds fine with rgbds v0.7.0 or newer.

Hi! rgbasm (rgbds) v0.4.2 is too old. You need to be using rgbds v0.7.0 or newer.

White screen bugs are caused by poor emulators. To fix it, use a more accurate emulator.

To be clear, there is no known issue with this mod that would lead to such a thing. This mod is tested on real hardware. However, I cannot endorse any repro cart available online for purchase, as I know nothing about their production.
