Kanto for me. Idk, I've always liked the look of the area between Pewter/Viridian, by Diglett's cave. There's something... rustic about it.

I caught Lugia first try with one Ultra ball (although it's health was in the red), and Suicune with the second Ultra ball. I've never had this type of luck catching legendaries before but... now I've posted about it, I know getting the rest of them will be ridiculously hard :D ^ Same here. Heh.

Got mine (finally) yesterday from the local DVD rental place. No fuss, they were just lined up on the shelves, for £35. No figurine or anything with it, though. Still, I'm enjoying it so far. Trying to draw out the gameplay for as long as possible (just reached Goldenrod). Anyone taking it slowly?

Well, I'm off to England tomorrow so hopefully I can get it there. After some research, it seems the glitch is to do with saving.

So... just went out today to buy SoulSilver (finally), and it turns out they've recalled the games in The Netherlands and also in Dutch-speaking part of Belgium. I'm... a little annoyed to say the least. (News on Nintendo website) Anyone else have any more info on this? Future release date...

Same here, all of my games work, even Red/Blue (though they tend to be glitchy). When you consider how many hours of gameplay they must have racked up since, it's pretty incredible.

Also new here ^.^ I'm a veteran of the older games, so I'll be haunting the Games board...

Heh, this should be fun... The first time I played Red, I thought the game finished at Celadon. Like, you got there and had to start again. Then a friend told me I could play the Pokeflute and move Snorlax, and there was a whole other part of Kanto past it! I was amazed... The music in...
